Setting goals on the Garmin App is easy. You can use it to set a goal for any of the sports Garmin tracks. Once you have set your sport you can decide which metric you want to track. This can be Hours, Distance, Calories, or activities. In the example below I am going to set a goal for running, but the process is the same for other sports.

  1. Go to the Garmin Connect Web App and log in to your account
  2. Navigate to the goals section on the left hand side
  1. Select the activity you want to create a goal for. If you don’t see the sport you want to track, select custom.
  2. Fill in the information about your goal. You can give it a name, select your goal type, target, duration and the date you want the goal to start.
  1. Click save to finalize your goal
